The day is warm, the sun is low,
Baskets brim with ruby glow.
Grapes just picked, their skins still shine,
A promise held in every vine.

Two glasses stand with crimson grace,
Like hearts that rest in quiet place.
A bottle tucked among the green,
Hints at the wine that soon will be seen.

The barrels wait with wooden pride,
To hold the time that dwells inside.
The juice will darken, rich and deep,
While vineyards fold themselves to sleep.

This moment hums with earth and fire,
With labor, joy, and old desire.
For in the harvest’s vivid art,
We taste the soul, we drink the heart."
